Hey! Today I want to share new tool with which you can enlarge your class activities. It is called Edpuzzle.
Edpuzzle is an application that allows you to play with videos from various platforms such as YouTube, TedTalks, and National Geographic and transform them into course content. After you register for the application with your email and create your instructor account, you can add your classes and course materials.
If you want to create video content for your students, you can either use an existing video in edpuzzle or upload your own video and begin making it.
For example, as you can see in the next image, I chose a video like this for my class. Since activities like listening comprehension activities for students are critical in terms of language learning, this app allows you to apply questions to the minutes you want in the video and verify their understanding. For example, as shown in the following picture, I chose a video similar to this for my class. Since listening comprehension exercises for students are essential in terms of language learning, this app allows you to submit questions to the minutes you want in the video and check their understanding.
Edpuzzle also provides you with other video editing options. You can, for example, cut the video you want to use from anywhere you want so that you just watch the parts your students want to understand. You may also add your voice to the video, enabling you to explain the subject to the students in your own words.
Then, using the assign button, you can send the videos you created to your students, and all you have to do is wait for their responses. You can also explore your students' responses through the graphs they make, thanks to Edpuzzle. You can monitor your students' progress.
Thanks to millions of videos that are provided by Edpuzzle, you will be teaching your lessons joyfully!
Thanks for your concern :)
